{Thomasville Coffee Table} - Custom Refinish

The owner of these tables wanted a fresh look in her living room, and also to bring a bit of color (as accomplished with the end tables below) in as well. She wanted the coffee table to be white (I used Honeymilk by Valspar), with a medium glaze, and sealed with a polycrylic top coat. It turned out beautifully.

{Broyhill Hutch} - SOLD

SOLD!!

AKA: The Hutch From H... never mind.

Why it took me this long to finish this dang thing I have no idea. Well I do know. I'm not sure you want to though.

Anyway, after refinishing it basically twice because I had to use my new chalk paint, I realized I should have just left it with the latex on, but, you know, I was excited.

I LOVE how this hutch turned out. I used Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint on it, sealed with her high-quality furniture wax and buffed to a perfect sheen. It is lightly distressed and looking very pretty in her new skin.

The time she took to finish was all worth this gorgeous end product!

{Cute Side Table} - Custom Refinish

This is a cute table that I painted, lightly distressed, glazed (to give it an antiqued effect) and finished off with a coat of poly. I am kicking myself for not taking a before picture... I will from now on!

{The PB Samantha Entryway Bench}

A few of the pieces that I will build-to-sell is this knock-off Samantha Entryway Bench by Pottery Barn. We built it originally, 3 years ago, to go at the top of a stairway landing, but use it at our new house in front of our breakfast nook window for seating at our table. We store the kids coloring books and accessories and place mats under it, so that's why you can see some stuff peaking out of the top of the baskets! :D It would look fantastic in an entryway (naturally), at the foot of a bed (as pictured below) or as a bench at a kitchen table (like we have it). The options are endless.

Following are also some pictures from the PB website of their bench... can you tell the difference? The dimensions are the same, though ours is made from pine, and theirs from poplar and MDF. You can customize your paint color and distressing level. (I still need to distress and touch up a few spots on mine! Actually, I wish I would have painted mine white, which I just may still do... hmm)
